Dr. Kevin Peterson grew up in the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan and attended Michigan Technological University for his undergraduate studies. He majored in Biomedical Engineering. His interest in forces and force systems were learned while in Engineering school which later served him well as he continued his pursuit in dentistry.
Dr. Peterson continued his education and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy. While attending dental school, Dr. Peterson decided to follow his passion and complete his orthodontic residency to specialize in Orthodontics at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. Orthodontics is the perfect blend of engineering and dentistry and he decided to move to Nashville to serve the rapidly growing community.
Dr. Peterson is experienced in the treatment of complex surgical orthodontic cases for adults, as well as early interceptive orthodontic therapy for children, and traditional comprehensive orthodontic treatment of teenagers. Dr. Peterson is very passionate about being an orthodontist and is available to answer any questions regarding orthodontic treatment.
In his free time, Dr. Peterson enjoys going to the gym, watching NFL (Go Bears!) games and other professional sports, hiking, and traveling to visit his family.
