Dr. Maggie Pitts truly enjoys treating her patients in the middle Tennessee area and you can see it in her smile. She grew up in the Birmingham area and her attention to detail started at a young age as she vigorously prepared to represent her local community in the Miss Alabama competition. Her passion for the people of her community was exemplified by her charitable works while attending Samford University. She chose to further pursue this passion by selecting dentistry as a career and earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at UAB in Birmingham. “Dr. Maggie,” as her patient’s call her, initially practiced in Alabama before moving to middle Tennessee in 2014. She has been practicing in Smyrna since 2015. She was a founding member of the Southern Women’s Dental Study Club and serves on the New Dentist Committee within the Tennessee Dental Association.
Dr. Maggie describes the gym as her happy place and if she’s not working out she’s probably determining the menu for her next culinary masterpiece. She and her husband Adam recently welcomed their first child, Davis, and they live in Sylvan Park with their dog Mollie.
Dr. Maggie’s patients would describe her as compassionate and attentive to their concerns whether that be anxiety about a procedure or the impact that procedure will have on their lives. She truly has the patient’s best interest at heart and enjoys providing the best dental experience possible for her patients.
